My 21-Day Liquid-Only Journey: Embracing the Daniel Fast

I'll keep it real with you - I did slip up twice, but it was just for a tiny indulgence of one oatmeal cookie each day. Couldn't resist that chewy feeling. The inspiration for this fast came from watching one of my favorite preachers, Mike Todd. He mentioned his church doing a 21-day fast, and it felt like a sign from God. Now, every night, I'm glued to his YouTube program about fasting and prayer. Also, I've been diving into my prayer book and planning to read the Bible.    Isaiah 43:19 For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland. 2023 was a year of learning and gaining knowledge for me. How about you? I firmly believe that God orchestrates everything for a reason and a season. The first unexpected event in 2023 was when over 300 of my eBay listings disappeared. It was a headache, and I haven't replaced those listings yet. The last significant event in 2023 was the passing of my mom, and everything that occurred thereafter contributed to genuine mental health challenges. As we step into 2024, I've revamped my apartment, reorganizing everything for a fresh start. My focus this year is on self-improvement and caring for my child. I hope to avoid attending any more funerals. I continue to pursue my dreams and personal development. In the past, I used to struggle with saying no to events, but not anymore. I cherish the...
